After 10 years of knowing each other and 1 year married, Rachel and Lachlan wanted to capture this new era of their lives together.

The coast felt like the perfect place. Not only was it where they had taken their first set of engagement photos, but with Mauao standing in the background and the soft glow of the east coast sunrise, it couldn’t have been a more meaningful setting..

This shoot wasn’t about milestones or big announcements, but everything else that’s in between.

The slow mornings, the familiarity, the comfort of building a life side by side. It was a moment to pause and document what life looks like now.
